Members of the public should direct any formal complaints against a member of the Cook Islands Law Society to the Registrar of the High Court and send a copy of such complaint to the Law Society Council which oversees the Cook Islands Law Society.

If a complaint arises concerning a member of the public offering legal services when he or she is not admitted to practice law in the Cook Islands, then such complaint should also be directed to the Registrar of the High Court and a copy of such complaint sent to the Law Society Council. The unlawful practice of law is a serious matter.
